K&C Diving has been asked several times to provide diving assistance for salvage works, both in Europe and in West Africa. For the prevention of and fight against oil pollution (oil spill management), K&C Diving has been in a partnership with the Arivic company since 2016.
Salvage works
The clients for salvage works can be very diverse: insurers, contractors, port authorities, government, ... This is because salvage works are not only required in case of a sunken ship or other sailing vessel. Salvage work also includes deepening the waterways, the removal of car wrecks, containers, industrial material, old dolphins, displaced tubular pipes. Sometimes is even includes gigantic pieces, such as a 350 tonne base post for a drilling platform.
K&C Diving can help you with the following projects:
- search for lost objects
- salvage of a vessel or vehicle
- salvage of sunken objects (pylons, dolphins, containers, ...)
DID YOU KNOW?
Thanks to our years of experience in the provision of diving assistance for all manner of salvage projects, we were able to achieve the salvage of the sunken tugboat De Stier in less than one day in 2010!
